Gear box

Multi speed · 13:23

The central multi-speed gear box (13:23) sends drive out to the gear side drive (20:35:28), which turns the rotor.

01Drive

Drive is routed through a centrally mounted multi-speed gear box and out to a gear-driven side drive, so the rotor is driven through gears end to end.

02Tillage

The rotor carries LJF type blades: 54 on the 7 ft model and 60 on the 8 ft. A press roller is available on both sizes.

03Seeding

Seed and fertiliser are both metered by aluminium fluted rollers and dropped through individual tubes to each tyne.

04Tractor match

Each width has its own minimum tractor power. The flyer lists 55 HP & above for the 7 ft model and 60 HP & above for the 8 ft; sizes from 6 ft to 10 ft are available — ask us for the figures for other widths.
